2009 Contest Winner
Choosing one winner was again a very difficult task for the team of judges.
This year's contestants were narrowed to the top 5 based on an essay
submitted with their application. The top 5 were examined by Dr. Fluegge
and interviewed personally by Jessica Clay
from KKRV and Judy Anderson from J Anderson Marketing.

Charlotte Fogelstrom
excerpt from Charlotte's essay:
"...My adult life has been spent in a self-conscious state, ever mindful of my smile
exposing my ugly teeth. Many people consider me shy; it is not shyness that keeps
me from smiling, it is my teeth. I laugh behind my hand. I chew on my front teeth
and I honestly live in fear of losing my remaining teeth. Winning an ULTIMATE SMILE
MAKEOVER would renew my self-confidence. With some practice I could smile and
laugh without hesitation or fear of embarrassment. Vanity does not play a role
in my desire to have a smile makeover. The opportunity to feel beautiful again,
for me and for my husband is all the drive I need."
